Fewer boys travelled to Croydon but many of the keener brethren were present and, though Croydon were significantly stronger on home ground, the team hung on well to record 2nd place and keep at the top of the table with a One League point advantage over the day's hosts.
Of the U15s,Stuart Price equalled his recent 80Hdls record with a hand-timed 11.6,Tim Sagar improved to 2.16.4 over 800 & Tom Stottor won again over 400 whilst,of the many U13s,Richard Smeaton was a fine tactical winner at HJ(PB 1.34),Gordon Lester won twice & the middle distance trio of Edmund Croall,Josh Ayres & Oliver Attrill shone in what is a weakish area throughout the club.Scores in Div One: Croydon 178,K&P 165,AFD 110 etc with K&P 1st overall(11pts),Croydon 2nd(10pts) & AFD 3rd(9pts).
